Siemens Baoding Industrial Internet of Things Convergence Application Capability Center (hereinafter referred to as “Baoding Capability Center”) officially opened today. The center, jointly built by Siemens (China) Co., LTD. Aiwenda Division and Baoding Lianchi High-tech Zone and Shenbao Development, integrates technology verification, demonstration and practical training, aiming to empower local enterprises to upgrade and transform digitally and train local digital talents.
MVME147 What are the highlights of Baoding Ability Center?
The Baoding Capability Center has landed the innovative research and development achievements of the local team of Siemens Research Institute in China – future-oriented graphical IT/OT integration development kit Workflow Canvas™, and its first demonstration line has been completed in the Baoding capability Center. The Baoding Capability Center is the first demonstration and work center for this tool. Workflow Canvas™ can strengthen the technical level of local industrial system integration solutions and technical service providers, improve their work efficiency in providing digital transformation, transformation and upgrading for enterprises, accelerate the development and upgrading of local manufacturing industry, and help enterprises refine and accumulate domain knowledge to maximize the value of digital transformation.
Relying on the center, Siemens Aiwendar Business unit will collaborate with Siemens MVME147 China Research Institute and other relevant business groups to empower local manufacturing enterprises to transform and upgrade through the continuous introduction of technology, services and ecological resources in the field of digitalization. Baoding Capability Center will also make use of Siemens’ successful technology innovation practice, gather digital ecological partners through various activities, competitions, summits, etc., and form a digital ecosystem with Baoding as the center and radiating the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
After the opening ceremony, the first business delegation composed of more than 30 corporate guests visited the Baoding Capacity Center and participated in the Baoding Capacity Center’s first phase of manufacturing enterprise digitalization lecture hall. Siemens held in-depth discussions with business representatives on how to build competitiveness under digital transformation, Siemens best practices and typical solutions.
