To make the product market fine and fine, to provide different users with products that meet their needs, is the product development concept that Pierre Magnetic has been adhering to.
USB-6363 PNOZmulti2 modular programmable safety controller is the “master” in the current peer magnetic controller products, which provides users from all walks of life with simple, convenient and practical safety control solutions, and is loved by users.
PILZ recently introduced a new base module for PNOZmulti2, the PNOZ mB0.1, which is a “miniaturized” improvement over the original base module, the PNOZ mB0, to make it more functional and cost-effective to meet the needs of customers for small and medium-sized security applications.
Similarities and Differences between PNOZ mB0 and PNOZ mB0.1
Similar to the PNOZ mB0, the PNOZ mB0.1 base USB-6363 module body provides 20 safe digital inputs that can be freely combined, with 8 safe input points that can also be configured by software to be used as non-safe semiconductor outputs. The body provides four safe semiconductor outputs, each up to ISO 13849-1 PLe and ISO 61508 SIL CL3. In addition, the body also provides four test pulses for monitoring the safety input loop, and the four test pulses can be configured as non-safety semiconductor outputs through software configuration. PNOZ m B0.1 and PNOZ m B0 are exactly the same in terms of external dimensions. Chip card removable program storage is convenient for hardware exchange in the future. The LCD display with backlight on the front can display the faults and status of the PNOZ mB0.1 module operation, and can also display custom text through the configuration of the user software.
Compared with PNOZ mB0, the right side of the PNOZ mB0.1 base module can only be expanded with one safety input and output module (speed monitoring module is not supported). For example, PNOZ m EF 16DI, PNOZ m EF 4DI4DOR, USB-6363 PNOZ m EF 2DOR, PNOZ m EF 4DI4DORD, PNOZ m EF 8DI4DO, PNOZ m EF 8DI2DOT. On the left side, up to four security connection modules, one fieldbus module, and one ETH interface or RS232 interface module can be expanded as required.
The supporting software of PNOZ mB0.1 is still PNOZmulti Configurator, but the version needs to start from v11.0, and common security software function blocks can be used with PNOZ mB0.1. The PNOZmulti Configurator is known for being very user-friendly, and its graphical interface, drag-and-drop operation, and menu selection make it easy to implement specialized security programming without much programming experience. The rich fieldbus interface module can help PNOZ mB0.1 easily realize the data exchange with external third-party devices, and all kinds of diagnostic data in the security system can be easily taken out and displayed through this interface. Currently supported protocols are Profibus, CANopen, CC-Link, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, and Powerlink.
PNOZ mB0.1 features Overview
• Only one security input/output module can be expanded USB-6363 on the right side, suitable for small and medium-sized applications
• Monitors commonly used safety functions such as emergency stop buttons, safety doors, safety light curtains, etc
•45mm shape width saves installation space of electric cabinet, and comes with light-emitting LCD screen to increase diagnostic flexibility
• Supporting software tool -PNOZmulti Configurator, friendly interface, rich function blocks, graphical operation, menu selection, can save a lot of planning and engineering design time
• Support for a variety of third-party fieldbus interfaces, such as Profinet, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT, Profibus, etc
For users, the listing of the PNOZ mB0.1 basic module has enriched the choice of security controller. When the number of security functions required by the device can be met with PNOZ mB0.1, the choice of PNOZ mB0.1 is obviously more cost-effective.
