TE Connectivity Named the World’s Most Ethical IS200EXHSGREC Company for the 10th Consecutive Year
Mr. Terrence Curtin, CEO, said: “At TE, our core values – acting with integrity, responsibility, inclusiveness, innovation and teamwork – define how we operate and innovate. The continued recognition of the EthicVillage Association is a testament to the fact that our commitment to operating with integrity is highly appreciated by our customers, employees and investors.”
The World’s Most Ethical Companies assessment framework measures a company’s ethical culture; environmental, social and governance practices; ethical and compliance practices; diversity, equality and inclusion; and initiatives that support a strong value chain. In the last year, TE has strengthened its compliance training and communications strategy and continues to leverage data analytics to improve effectiveness. The company has also developed its Compliance Liaison Officer program, IS200EXHSGREC which involves more than 20 employees worldwide: they support ethics and compliance programs in addition to their daily duties and help drive TE’s commitment to the highest standards of integrity.
Erica Salmon Byrne, Chief Strategy IS200EXHSGREC Officer and Executive Chairman of EthicVillage, said: “It is always encouraging to recognise the ‘world’s most ethical companies’. Through a rigorous review process, we have witnessed these companies continually improve their ethics, compliance and governance practices for the benefit of all stakeholders. Companies that elevate a culture of ethics and integrity to a first-class level set the standard for their peers and competitors to follow. Congratulations to TE for this honor and for demonstrating that a high level of ethics is good business practice.”
