Siemens was selected out of more than 21,000 companies to be included in CDP’s A rating for Climate Change

45UV5-1101 Siemens has been named to the CDP (Global Environmental Information Research Center) 2023 A rating for climate change companies list. Achieving this top rating is a recognition of Siemens’ environmental leadership and transparency in environmental information disclosure. CDP operates an environmental disclosure platform around the world that promotes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the conservation of water and forest resources. In 2023, CDP assessed more than 45UV5-1101 21,000 companies around the world based on the environmental information they disclosed in their climate change questionnaires, and only 346 companies were included in the list of companies with A climate change A score.

The CDP disclosure framework is aligned with TCFD requirements, and the CDP 45UV5-1101 score is widely used in investment and procurement decisions to support zero-carbon, sustainable and dynamic economic development. In 2023, more than 740 financial institutions worldwide (with total assets of more than $136 trillion) required companies to disclose data related to environmental impacts, risks and opportunities through the CDP platform.
