From the perspective of the application field of special service robots, logistics robots, public environment robots and military robots are the top three application types in 2019, of which logistics robots have always been the growth engine of the industry, and the sales of logistics robots reached 75,000 units in 2019, accounting for 43.35% of the global sales of special service robots. From the development growth rate of the next four years, the growth rate of logistics robots, public environment robots, and professional cleaning robots reached 36%, 40% and 43%, respectively.
◆ 50% of the sales revenue of special service robots depends on “medical treatment”

In terms of value, sales of medical robots accounted for 47% of the total turnover of dedicated service robots in 2019. This is mainly driven by the most expensive surgical robot system among dedicated service robots. Sales hit a new record of $5.3 billion, up 28 percent. Sales of medical robots are expected to double to $11.3 billion by 2022. About 90 percent of medical robots come from U.S. and European suppliers.
The market value created by selling or leasing logistics robots grew 110 percent to $1.9 billion. Autonomous mobile robots are part of today’s smart factory. Therefore, the annual turnover of logistics robots is likely to continue to maintain a strong growth of 40% or more.
Service robots produced for the mass market for personal and household use are mainly in the field of household robotics. These include robot sweeper, lawn mower and entertainment robot. In 2019, total sales of personal and home service robots increased by 34 percent to more than 23.2 million units. Its sales rose 20 percent to $5.7 billion.
