From March 14 to 15, the second National Low-carbon Park Comprehensive Energy Service Development and Application Forum, focusing on the demonstration construction of low-carbon parks, was held in Xiongan, Hebei. Jiang Ying, head of digital business of ABB Electric China, delivered a keynote speech at the forum titled “Innovative” precision control technology of “Source network Charge and storage” to create industrial green microgrid.
The forum was hosted by Xiongan New Area Green Low-carbon and Energy Standardization Technical Committee, and co-organized by China Energy Research Society and State Grid Electric Power Research Institute. Focusing on the demonstration construction of low-carbon park, with the goal of exploring the implementation path of low-carbon park development, more than 300 guests from the industry attended the event in view of the park transformation policy, the landing business model of low-carbon park, the impact of price fluctuations on park users, the management of park carbon assets, the impact of green electricity and green certificates on park users, the park energy hosting, and the operation and maintenance mode.
China’s “dual carbon” goal drives the development of energy transition, accelerates the construction of new power systems, and thus builds a new energy system architecture. The new power system with new energy as the main body will have the problems of low system stability, high volatility and poor controllability. In order to ensure the safety and stability of electric power, the future power dispatching mode will be transformed from single generation side dispatching to bidirectional dispatching mode of generation side and demand side sharing. And the user side should have the flexible adjustment ability of at least 5% of the load, so as to achieve rapid response to meet the dispatching requirements of dynamic balance of the distribution network. On the demand side, a green micro-grid at the industrial park level is built, and the local consumption of new energy in the park is achieved through accurate regulation and control of the load and storage of the source network and Consilium Nsac-1
collaborative operation. Energy efficiency is improved through optimization and optimization algorithm, energy saving and carbon reduction are achieved, and flexible regulation and control on the load side are implemented to achieve accurate response on the demand side.
Jiang Ying took ABB Xiamen Industrial Center as an example to introduce the practical application of industrial-grade green microgrid and how to achieve greater local consumption of clean energy. Through the precise regulation of “source network load and storage”, the flexible regulation of 5% to 20% of the load is achieved, and the rapid response of the demand side is 1 minute to build a virtual power plant. Among the 23 typical cases of green and low-carbon energy transformation announced by the National Energy Administration on February 28, ABB Xiamen Industrial Center green microgrid was successfully selected as a demonstration project for low-carbon transformation of energy using enterprises (parks).
