The number of humanoid robot enterprises ranks first in the country
As one of the important fields of future intelligent equipment, humanoid robots have attracted much attention and gradually become a must-have for major technology companies. On the last trading day 0100-90945 in 2023, Youbi Technology officially landed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and became the “first stock of humanoid robots”. The company will focus on three major application scenarios for humanoid robots: industrial manufacturing, commercial services and family companionship. Among them, intelligent manufacturing will become the first large-scale application of humanoid robots, humanoid robots will redefine the AI era of workers, people from repetitive labor free.
Guangdong is a fertile breeding ground for humanoid robots. According to public data, in 2022, Guangdong’s intelligent robot industrial cluster will achieve revenue of 61.64 billion yuan and added value of 11.14 billion yuan, and its industrial development is in the first echelon of the country. As of August 2023, there are 39 related humanoid robot enterprises in Guangdong, ranking first in the country. The “Future intelligent equipment Industrial Cluster Action Plan” proposes that Guangdong Province should give full play to the advantages of 5G, artificial intelligence, and industrial Internet, gather domestic and foreign innovation resources, and strive to establish a humanoid robot innovation system in Guangdong Province in 2-3 years, and make breakthroughs in a number of key technologies such as “brain, cerebellum, and limb” to ensure the safe and effective supply of core components.

Actively expand the application scenarios of space technology
At 12:10 am on June 7, 2023, the Lijian 1 Yao-2 carrier rocket successfully launched “26 stars in one arrow” from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, setting a new record for the highest number of stars in one arrow in China. One of the first rockets produced in Nansha, Guangzhou, was developed by China Aerospace Corporation, the first mixed-ownership commercial space enterprise in China and the first commercial space “unicorn” in Guangdong.
Guangdong Province has the advantages of equipment manufacturing and low latitude near the sea. The “Future Intelligent Equipment Industrial Cluster Action Plan” points out that support Guangzhou 0100-90945 Nansha, Huangpu and other places to plan and build aerospace industrial parks, create electric vertical takeoff and landing unmanned aerial vehicle industry highland and application scenario demonstration area, accelerate the development of low – and medium-orbit satellites and Beidou industry, and explore the integration of satellite communications with ground 5G, the Internet of things. Strengthen cooperation with central enterprises and international leading enterprises, vigorously introduce domestic and foreign superior space forces and major projects, and build the whole industrial chain of commercial space.
In the key projects of space equipment, flying cars are another focus. On February 27, eVTOL “Shengshilong”, an electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft independently developed by Fengfei Aviation Technology, completely simulated a family flying from the Shenzhen Shekou cruise home port to the Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port dock, reducing the one-way ground drive of 2.5 to 3 hours to 20 minutes. This is also the first public demonstration flight of the world’s first cross-sea cross-city eVTOL electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft route.
Although flying cars are still in the early stages of development, many Guangdong car companies have taken the lead in layout, such as GAC, Xiaopeng and other companies. On June 26, 2023, GOVE, a flying car developed by GAC, debuted at GAC Science and Technology Museum in Nansha, Guangzhou, and achieved the world’s first flight. In October 2022, XOPeng Hutian independently developed and manufactured the fifth-generation flying car Traveler X2 completed its first overseas public flight in Dubai, aiming to achieve mass production of flying cars in 2024. The “Future intelligent equipment Industrial Cluster Action Plan” mentions that it is necessary to actively expand the application scenarios of space technologies such as Beidou navigation, satellite Internet, flying cars, and cross-media aircraft in the fields of economic livelihood, emergency rescue, and disaster monitoring.
