After the deactivated catalyst enters the regenerator, the coke formed during the reaction is removed from its surface, thus restoring its chemical activity. In the regenerator, continuous level measurement and low level switches are also used to control the catalyst flow through each pass. In particular, the isotope limit switch can be calibrated according to the specific catalyst deposition situation, and the switch signal can be output on demand to optimize the process control of the regeneration process.

The catalyst is then returned to the reactor in batches via pneumatic conveying to ensure that the total amount of catalyst in the reactor is maintained at a suitable level. Between the regenerator reduction chamber and the regenerated catalyst hopper, the reactivated catalyst also passes through a lock-in hopper, where the isotope meter is also used.
