Is there a common standard for new joints?
The general electrical requirements for single pair Ethernet connectors are based on the IEC 63171 standard. The IEC 63171 series of subsidiary standards -1 to -6 describe the design of joint surfaces and the mechanical requirements of connectors.
What connectors did Weidmuller develop?
