Affected by the decline in overseas market demand, China’s exports of motor products have declined this year. According to customs statistics, from January to July, China’s exports of motor products were 8.7 billion US dollars, down 9.1% year on year.
From the perspective of export regional market, in the first 7 months, China’s export of motor products to Africa was 350 million US dollars, an increase of 8.6%; Exports to North America were $1.19 billion, down 19.9%; Exports to Europe were 2.62 billion US dollars, down 12.7% year on year; Exports to Latin America were $700 million, down 2.4%; Exports to Asia were $3.7 billion, down 5.3 percent from a year earlier.

Data show that from January to July this year, China’s motor products to Japan exports of about 580 million US dollars, an increase of 12.9%; Exports to the United States amounted to $1.1 billion, down 19.9% year on year; Exports to Germany amounted to $450 million, down 13.8% year-on-year.
At present, China’s most important motor exports are still small and medium-sized motors. Since the beginning of this year, among all kinds of motor products, the export volume of large motors has fallen the most. Data show that from January to July, the export value of small and medium-sized motor products was 6.34 billion US dollars, down 6.7% year-on-year; Exports of large motor products were US $450 million, down 32% year-on-year; Exports of micromotor products were $1.82 billion, down 22.2% year on year. Dc motor and DC generator with output power ≤750W are still the largest single product of China’s motor export.
