On May 11, 2024, the DCS autonomous controllable transformation project of Unit 9 of Datang Toktor Power Plant successfully passed 168 hours of trial operation and successfully completed the operation. Hangzhou Hollysys Automation Co., LTD. Datang Toktor Power Plant is located in Toktor County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia. It is the largest thermal power plant in the world with 10 units of 600,000 units and 2 units of 300,000 units. As the first 600,000-kilowatt ultra-supercritical unit in the plant, the independent and controllable transformation of Unit 9 is the most crucial part of the transformation of 24 units in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei guaranteed supply area of Datang Group. The successful transformation of the project has an important demonstration significance in Datang Group and even in the power industry.
Domestic transformation and intelligent upgrading are the fundamental needs of Datang Toktor Power Plant. The 660MW unit No. 9 of the thermal power plant was put into production in 2016. The original DCS, DEH, MEH, ETS, METS and other systems are all branded by foreign manufacturers, and their independent controllable transformation time is tight, the task is heavy, and the construction complexity is high and difficult.

The project adopts HOLLiAS MACS IC fully autonomous controllable DCS system independently developed by Hollysys, with 100% localization of software and hardware, a total of 38 pairs of controllers, 84 control cabinets, 15,160 I/O measuring points, including DCS/DEH/ETS/MEH/METS system.
