On May 22-23, the “Reza Electronics OpenAMP Hybrid Deployment Practical Training Based on RZ/G2L” jointly organized by Mir Electronics and Reza Electronics was held in Shenzhen Futian District, Shenzhen. OpenAMP is a software component designed to handle asymmetric multiprocessing (AMP) systems, simplifying efficient communication between heterogeneous multi-core processor systems and providing cross platform, scalable, and flexible solutions. Through OpenAMP, developers can easily share resources between processors of different architectures, achieve efficient parallel computing and real-time data exchange, and fully leverage the performance advantages of heterogeneous multi-core platforms.
RZ/G2L microprocessor equipped with dual core Arm ® Cortex ® – A55 (1.2 GHz) CPU and single core Arm ® Cortex ® – M33 (200 MHz) CPU, 16 bit DDR3L/DDR4 interface, 3D graphics acceleration engine with Arm Mali-G31, and video codec (H.264). In addition, this microprocessor is equipped with numerous interfaces such as camera input, display output, USB 2.0, and Gigabit Ethernet, making it particularly suitable for entry-level industrial human-machine interface (HMI) and embedded devices with video functionality.
This training course will be based on RZ/G2L Remi Pi and Linux/FreeRTOS hybrid deployment, explaining and experimenting on how to use the OpenAMP framework to achieve multi-core processor inter core communication and applications.
