On the afternoon of May 30th, the Shanghai Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, in collaboration with the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, announced the first prize list of key product quality research achievements in Shanghai in 2023. Jieka Robot once again won this honor for its lightweight quality research project in the multi scenario application of mobile composite robots.
The award-winning of this quality research project not only demonstrates JAKA’s high-quality breakthrough in product technology, but also highlights the significant advantages of the “JQMS” quality management system. This comprehensive quality management system connects multiple dimensions such as research and development, production, supply chain, and service, allowing us to surpass the limitations of traditional linear quality management models and greatly improve product applicability, safety, reliability, durability, maintainability, and other aspects. At present, the award-winning products have penetrated the production lines of well-known domestic enterprises and entered the markets of developed countries—— Wu Wei, Chief Quality Officer of Jieka Robotics
In this quality research project, Jieka Robot has significantly improved the reliability, safety, intelligence, and consistency and stability of product production quality of JAKA mobile composite robot applications through key quality technologies, full process quality management methods, and digital quality means. Nowadays, award-winning products have successfully penetrated into factory production lines in fields such as textiles, automotive parts, 3C consumer electronics, healthcare, logistics, and fast-moving consumer goods, serving internationally renowned enterprises such as Shanghai Electric, Jiangsu Bigao, and Xinxiang Chemical Fiber.
Seeking innovation and change, striving for excellence in quality

In the process of this quality breakthrough, Jieka Robot has gained insight into the challenges of complex robots in the industry, such as heavy volume, difficult deployment, range difference, and high learning threshold. It has made breakthroughs in key quality technologies from the following three aspects and developed a more reliable, safer, and intelligent JAKA mobile composite robot application.
Adopting lightweight design of the body, optimizing mechanical structure design, circuit design, energy management system, etc., and strictly selecting low-power devices. After tackling the problem, the mechanical strength is increased by 15%, the circuit stability is improved by 20%, and the energy utilization efficiency is improved by 10-15%, which can achieve low energy consumption and long endurance operation.
Innovate the safety interaction system between humans, machines, and objects, integrate multiple sensors with SLAM navigation technology, provide visual protection systems and collision detection systems, and establish error alarm mechanisms to ensure smooth and timely obstacle avoidance of robots in the factory.
Optimize the software and hardware architecture, use JAKA’s self-developed graphical programming app to reduce user learning and usage barriers, and provide a “minimalist” operating experience. By utilizing a comprehensive secondary development interface, expandable fixtures, and modular structures, the application potential of robots can be unleashed, achieving extremely complex scenarios in various industries.
During the research and development process, this project obtained four intellectual property rights, including patents and software copyrights.
Seamless quality control, achieving both quality and efficiency
Jieka Robotics firmly believes that details determine quality, and the process shapes brilliance. In this research project, the Jieka Robot adopts the “JQMS” Jieka Quality Management System, which incorporates the ultimate detail management of products into the entire manufacturing process. Compared to traditional serial management methods, the Jieka Robot is based on the ISO 9001 quality management system, allowing for comprehensive collaboration among research and development quality management systems, production quality management systems, supply chain quality management systems, business support quality management systems, and after-sales service quality management systems, forming a refined “JQMS” (JAKA Quality Management System) quality management model.
At the same time, Jieka Robotics emphasizes industry co creation, selecting the best from the best, collaborating with top suppliers to select key components, ensuring excellent performance and reliability of products with a rigorous supply chain supervision system and high-end standards, and optimizing human-machine collaborative assembly technology and process, integrating robot components such as motors and reducers through robot assembly.
Advanced production processes and quality management systems enable robots to go through precise process control, strict quality control and inspection from raw material selection, design and engineering verification, processing and manufacturing to overall assembly, ensuring that every JAKA mobile composite machine meets corresponding standards and specifications.
Cloud driven, finely crafted
On the basis of optimizing the performance and quality improvement of the robot body, the card saving robot follows the trend of digital development, pays attention to the data interaction between the robot and the quality system, develops OTA (Over The Air) data collection and “cloud edge end” dynamic intelligent analysis and monitoring platform, integrates intelligent computing, edge computing, 5G real-time communication and other cutting-edge technologies, realizes remote management, monitoring and analysis of product quality data, and ensures long-term operation and maintenance of the robot service factory.
Through multiple mass breakthroughs, the JAKA mobile composite robot has achieved a weight of 95kg, a 10 hour endurance, a 50mm obstacle avoidance distance, and a collision force not exceeding 50N. The robot’s application safety, intelligence, and stable operation level have reached the international leading level. In the future, Jieka robots will continue to drive the development pulse of the robotics industry with high-quality products and services, and drive the leap of new quality productivity in the national manufacturing industry.
