Siemens has been committed to promoting the green and low-carbon transformation of Chinese enterprises with an open ecology. On the same day of the forum, the “Siemens China Zero Carbon Pioneer Partner Project” was officially released. With the help of this project, Siemens will further use the ecological force to work together with all parties to deepen the potential, expand the impact, and win-win cooperation. As one of the important actions of the “Siemens China Zero Carbon Pioneer Partner Program”, the second Zero Carbon Pioneer Award was launched at the same time and a wide range of enterprises were invited to participate, aiming to accelerate the sustainable development of Chinese industries through advanced 500CIM05-1MRB150077R1B technology, knowledge empowerment and financial services.
“Green low-carbon transformation is a historic window for the high-quality development of enterprises, and it is a determination in the face of many uncertainties; And digital technology is another sure-fire way to accelerate that transformation.” Dr. Xiao Song, President and CEO of Siemens Greater China, said: “As a pioneer, practitioner and enabler, Siemens is willing to actively work with partners to promote sustainable development through the ‘two-wheel drive’ of digitalization and low-carbon.”
During the forum, Siemens announced the official launch of the 2024 Siemens Xcelerator Open to further consolidate ecological influence. Hosted by Siemens, co-organized by Puyue 500CIM05-1MRB150077R1B China, and co-organized by Aliyun as the cloud technology partner of the event, the event aims to give full play to the platform network effect, stimulate the potential of innovation ecology, and achieve and empower a new generation of digital and low-carbon transformation service providers. The competition will run from June to September 2024, and the winning team will have the opportunity to join the Siemens Xcelerator eco-partner “Star Program”, and the solution will be selected and promoted on the Siemens Xcelerator platform.
At the Shanghai International Carbon Neutral Expo site, Siemens also announced its innovative international carbon footprint online certification joint solution based on West Carbon Trail, jointly created with Siemens Xcelerator eco-partner TUV SUD (hereinafter referred to as “TUV SUD”). The certification service is based on AI-based carbon factor matching, which will help customers significantly improve the efficiency of carbon footprint verification, and enable customers to meet the needs of multiple scenarios such as supply chain carbon data exchange and supply chain management. The solution is now available on the Siemens Xcelerator platform.
