On June 5, the reporter learned from Shenzhen Information Vocational and Technical College (hereinafter referred to as “the Institute”) that in view of the current widespread application of humanoid robots in industrial production and future development trends, the Institute and Youbi Technology jointly launched the country’s first “new paradigm of Industrial humanoid robot production and education integration”. This program aims to cultivate high-quality talents who meet the demands of new quality productivity through deep integration of industry and education.

It is reported that the implementation of the project focuses on two core areas: on the one hand, it is to jointly build an “industrial humanoid robot innovation application research and development center” with Youbi Technology. On this innovation platform, it is believed that teachers of the Institute and engineers of the enterprise will work together to tackle cutting-edge technologies such as large-scale model application and multi-finger-smart hand adaptation, strive to achieve technological breakthroughs and scene innovation, and further promote the promotion and application of technology and teaching achievements of school-enterprise cooperation in the robot industry and even a wider range of fields.

The teacher Construction Innovation Class will work with top institutions such as the Chinese Society of Electronics and Youbi Technology to recruit and train teachers who are enthusiastic about new quality productivity technology, industrial upgrading and teaching application. The talent training innovation class aims to provide a platform for practice and innovation for campus students and off-campus new vocational trainers. Through the public practical training of the innovation center on campus, it carefully cultivates professionals in the application field of industrial scene humanoid robots, and conducts corresponding training and certification according to the needs of society and the requirements of evaluation organizations.
Wang Hui said at the launch ceremony that this new paradigm of the integration of production and education is a new cooperation model jointly explored by the Institute and Youbi Technology. The two sides will jointly explore and export new technology applications, new standards, new talent training models and new service demonstrations for cutting-edge technologies in the field of humanoid robots, such as large models and dexterous hands. In terms of talent training, it will closely combine the practical application needs of industrial humanoid robots, and launch an innovative talent training model by reproducing real production scenes and reconstructing job skills. This will not only help the upgrading and development of the intelligent robot industry, but also provide solid talent support for Shenzhen’s “20+8” industrial cluster, and then promote the comprehensive improvement of new quality productivity in Shenzhen and even the whole Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
