The unique Schaeffler coaxial gearbox
60M100-00 The Schaeffler coaxial gearbox is unique on the market by integrating an innovative cascade planetary bank and a lightweight differential. In 2018, Schaeffler’s first coaxial gearbox was put into production and successfully carried on Audi, Porsche and other models. On this basis, through continuous product derivatives and technological upgrades, in 2021, Schaeffler launched a two-in-one bridge with integrated motor and coaxial gearbox and achieved mass production, which was applied to plug-in hybrid models such as Volvo and Lynk & Co.

Schaeffler high performance high torque coaxial gearbox
At the end of 2023, Schaeffler’s high-performance coaxial gearbox for high-torque applications was put into production at the Taicang manufacturing base. With a maximum output torque of 4800Nm, an energy density of 252.6Nm/kg, and a 98% CLTC cycle efficiency, this product is another brand name for Schaeffler in the field of electrification. In terms of design, this product conforms to the product layout direction of major OMs, mainly aiming at 800V high-pressure platform applications to improve the efficiency of replenishment. Thanks to Schaeffler’s extensive design and application experience in the field of electric drives, this product has significant advantages in terms of space, weight and performance.
