Innovative industrial control network architecture
Jiang Ming said that based on years of practice, China Telecom has proposed a new industrial control network integration innovation architecture based on industrial PON for the first time for the upgrading and evolution of industrial manufacturing networks, and built a deterministic link capability, intelligent management capability, computing and network integration capability, and high availability network security capability to meet the new trend of intelligent and digital development of industrial sites.
According to reports, the entire network architecture is characterized by autonomy and control, open and universal, with the following six key technologies.
Key technology 1: universal, standardized network protocols and technologies. Industrial PON adheres to the ITU-T standard PON protocol to realize industrial ecological reuse and meet key requirements such as large bandwidth, low delay and high reliability. PON network slicing technology supports the diversified and converged bearing of multiple services in industrial scenarios, improving the adaptation capability of industrial control scenarios.
Key technology 2: High availability network assurance. In addition to the PON network’s own optical link protection protocol, there are multiple types of protection forms such as dual OLT handhold Type D, which match the protection configuration of industrial networks, can achieve on-demand redundancy networking, system reliability up to 99.999%, and provide highly reliable data transmission for industrial production networks.
Key technology 3: Industrial PON safety technology.
