Siemens recently received a notice from the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology that it was selected into the recruitment list of digital transformation service providers of Liaoning industrial clusters, and received an appointment letter from the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology at the “Service Providers Promote the Digital transformation of industrial Clusters in the Province” on July 2.

SPIET800 In June 2024, in order to promote the accurate docking and deepening cooperation between digital transformation service providers and industrial clusters, the Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology carried out the employment of service providers in view of the current situation of the characteristics, existing problems, and development planning of the digital transformation of various industrial clusters. After intense declaration and defense preparation, Siemens passed the provincial expert group review and was successfully hired as a digital transformation service provider for industrial clusters in Liaoning Province.

Siemens is the only foreign company to be selected, and has obtained the employment certificate of two industrial clusters: construction machinery and high-end equipment and new energy.

As an important base of China’s equipment manufacturing industry, Liaoning Province’s construction machinery and high-end heavy equipment industries have formed a relatively complete industrial chain, covering the whole process from design, research and development, manufacturing to service. In recent years, Liaoning Province has given strong support to the development of new energy industry, and has made remarkable progress in the field of new energy industry, forming an industrial cluster with a number of new energy equipment production bases.
