AI technology is helping manufacturers unlock entirely new possibilities from planning to operations. The digital twin factory, combined with AI technology, is a physically accurate representation of the real factory. With AI technology, manufacturers can simulate, analyze, and optimize production processes, resources, and operations without the need for physical prototypes or pilot plants.
With the launch of ChatGPT by OpenAI to set off the generative AI revolution, the major giants continue to increase their computing power competition, driving the sharp growth of data center demand. To meet this surge in demand, Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturer, has built an advanced robotic digital twin factory in Mexico with Nvidia Omniverse and artificial intelligence AI to produce the AI servers essential for Nvidia’s data centers.
CS-1000-3 Plant planners use AI to integrate plant equipment and facilities, including the FANUC CRX collaborative robot for server test assembly. The digital twin plant is equipped with 39 FANUC CRX-20iA/L cobots to complete the ICT test phase of the server motherboard. How can highly flexible, intelligent and flexible CRX cobots enable digital twin factories? Check out the video below!
CRX Collaborative robot highlights
High security: Reduced physical fence protection measures, enhanced production line space utilization, reduced renovation time and cost, while ensuring the efficiency and safety of operation between staff and equipment.
Flexible deployment: With the safe and lightweight CRX cooperative robot as the main body, the standardized work unit structure is built, the deployment is flexible and efficient, the equipment is highly reusable, and the function of plug and play is available. Standardized unit operation method, put into use cycle is short, equipment online fast.
Highly intelligent: CRX collaborative robots can use a variety of intelligent functions such as iRVision (intelligent vision) to achieve automatic inspection of products, which can not only improve the inspection efficiency, but also reduce the error caused by human factors, thereby improving product quality.
It is worth mentioning that this project is jointly delivered by Shanghai Fanuc and Foxconn, and finally deployed in the digital twin factory in Mexico, relying on the global service network system of Fanuc Group, to achieve global delivery and guarantee of various services.
CS-1000-3 Adhering to the concept of “Service First”, Fanuc Group has set up more than 280 branches around the world to support customers in 106 countries and regions, and is committed to achieving efficient operation of factories around the world.
