IC693CPU374 Siemens has been awarded the Platinum Medal, the highest honour in the 2024 EcoVadis sustainability rating, for its excellence in sustainability practices. With a score of 80 out of 100, it stands out among the top 1% of approximately 73,000 participating companies worldwide.
Since 2021, Siemens has significantly improved its score by 19 points, moving from silver in 2021 to gold in 2023 and platinum in 2024.
EcoVadis is the world’s leading corporate sustainability rating agency, with a rating system covering 21 sustainability criteria in four areas: environment, Labour and human rights, business ethics and sustainable sourcing. The total score of the enterprise is awarded platinum, gold, silver and bronze MEDALS.

EcoVadis sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards, including the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact, the International Labour Organization (ILO) Conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standard and the ISO 26000 standard. The rating provides fact-based performance analysis and a realistic roadmap for continuous optimization.
