On July 16, the “Research and Development and Application of high-speed Bus for Oil and Gas Pipeline Network Monitoring Based on AUTBUS” jointly completed by Western Pipeline Company of National Pipeline Network Group, Beijing Dongtu Technology Co., LTD., and China Petroleum and Natural Gas Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd. was successfully held in Beijing. The appraisal meeting is organized by China Machinery Industry Federation, and the appraisal committee is composed of 9 domestic industry authoritative experts such as Academician Chai Tianyou and Academician Zhang Laibin. Wu Zhiping, deputy general manager of the Science and Technology Department of the Group company, Pang Guiliang, deputy general manager of the Western Pipeline Company, attended the meeting.

It has broken through the foreign high-speed bus technology monopoly and achieved a new breakthrough in the international standard of two-wire broadband bus. The result was appraised by experts.
Since its launch in 2019, after four years of exploration and practice, the results of “Research and Development and application of AUTBUS high-speed bus for Oil and gas pipe network monitoring” have realized the independent supply of high-speed bus for oil and gas pipe network monitoring, built a whole-chain localization and autonomous controllable ecological industry chain, promoted the construction of “intelligent pipeline”, and laid a solid foundation for the digitalization and intelligent upgrading of the oil and gas industry. It has enhanced China’s core technical competitiveness in the international oil and gas field.
