• The enhanced NINVA™ TSP341-N is the first SIL2-certified non-invasive temperature sensor
• In response to customer demands for simpler and safer temperature measurements, NINVA™ reduces installation and maintenance costs for protective bushing without compromising measurement performance
Fast installation and no protective casing testing means savings of up to 75% and lower operating costs
A4H254-8F8T ABB has introduced the enhanced NINVA™ TSP341-N non-invasive temperature sensor to provide safer and simpler temperature measurement for chemical, oil and gas industry applications. The new NINVA is the first SIL2-certified non-invasive temperature sensor, making it the safest non-invasive temperature measurement sensor on the market.
ABB’s innovative non-invasive temperature sensor technology, whose performance has been proven over the past few years, provides an alternative to traditional intrusive protective casings, greatly simplifying temperature measurement.
NINVA™ uses the surface temperature of the pipe to infer the process temperature with the same accuracy and performance as intrusive measuring equipment, while avoiding the risks and life-cycle costs associated with design, installation, and maintenance.
A4H254-8F8T The NINVA TSP341-N is SIL2 certified and has been developed on the basis of the proven TTH300 temperature transmitter and offers a range of new features based on customer feedback. These include unique split-mounting capabilities, enhanced vibration resistance, optional configurations for applications up to 550°C (1022°F), and easier calibration and maintenance through a removable sensor measurement insert with independent sensor calibration and zeroing. Without sacrificing accuracy and performance, NINVA™ eliminates complex protective casing designs for small pipes by adopting a precise clamping method for different pipe diameters from 40mm to 2500mm and less than 40mm.
