Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy efficiency management and automation solutions, recently announced the launch of the new FBM201 analog input interface module under its FOXBORO brand. With its high precision and high reliability, this module provides strong support for signal acquisition and processing in the field of industrial automation.
The FBM201 analog input interface module has eight independent analog input channels capable of receiving sensor signals from 0 to 20 mA DC, and each channel is electrically isolated from other channels and ground wires to ensure signal integrity and prevent interference. The compact and rugged design of the module is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments, and its housing is designed to withstand even the rigors of the G3 class.
Another feature of the module is its high precision, which enables high-resolution signal conversion through sigma-delta data conversion technology per channel, and can provide a new analog input reading every 25 milliseconds, while the user can configure the integration time to eliminate noise and electromagnetic interference in the process.
The installation and replacement of the FBM201 module is simple and can be mounted directly on the compact 200 Series substrate without removing the terminal cabling, power supply or communication cabling of the field equipment when removing or replacing the module. In addition, the FBM201 is equipped with a visual indicator that provides a visual display of operating status via a red and green light-emitting diode (LED).
Concluding remarks:
The introduction of the FBM201 analog input interface module not only enrichis FOXBORO’s product line in the field of industrial automation, but also provides industrial customers around the world with more accurate and reliable control solutions. With the deepening of Industry 4.0, Schneider Electric is driving the future of industrial automation with its innovative technologies.
