The GE SR469-P5-HI-A20 is a motor protection system manufactured by GE Grid Solutions as part of the Multilin 469 family. The system offers full protection, control, simplified configuration and advanced communication capabilities for medium and large electric motors and drive equipment in a cost-effective, industry-leading drawer structure.
The Multilin 469 system has a variety of protection and control functions, including but not limited to thermal model bias, start supervision, mechanical jamming, undervoltage, overvoltage, underfrequency, overfrequency, stator differential protection, thermal overload, overtemperature protection, phase and ground overcurrent, current imbalance, power element, torque protection, and more. In addition, a variety of communication ports and protocols are available, such as 10baseT Ethernet, RS485, RS232, RS422 and DeviceNet, as well as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP and DeviceNet.
The system also provides monitoring and metering capabilities to measure current, voltage, power, power factor, frequency, electrical energy, non-functional energy, etc., as well as event recorder, oscilloscope and data logger (trend) capabilities, as well as statistics and learning motor data.

The Multilin 469 system is suitable for a variety of applications, including but not limited to the protection and management of three-phase medium and large horsepower motors and drive devices, such as high-inertia, two-speed and reduced voltage starting motors.
