ABB’s IISAC01 Analog Control Station (SAC) is a high-performance device designed for industrial automation that provides control and monitoring capabilities for a single process loop. The station receives and sends information to the Harmony controller via the CIO-100 control I/O block, the IMCIS12 control I/O module or the IMQRS12 Fast response module. The IISAC01 has some features that were not available in earlier digital control stations, including additional analog input displays, square-root options, and high-resolution bar chart displays that support serial links at 5 or 40 kilobudd rates.
The IISAC01 analog control station has three gas plasma bar chart displays corresponding to process variables and set points, with a resolution of 0.5% for 200 segments and a resolution of 1.0% for 100 output segments. It also has an 8-character, 14-paragraph alphanumeric display that can automatically enter or select bypass from the panel. In terms of power supply, the minimum supply voltage of the control station is 21.6 VDC, the maximum is 27.0 VDC, and the power consumption is 540 mA. The analog output current ranges from 3 to 21 mA and features a maximum inductance of 600Ω and a maximum reactance of 600 Mh with an accuracy of 2.0% at 25°C (77°F).
In addition, the IISAC01 is equipped with electromagnetic/RF interference protection to ensure stable operation in industrial environments. It has an ambient temperature range of 5° to 40°C (41° to 104°F) and humidity of 20% to 80% (non-condensing) and is CSA certified for use in process control equipment in general (non-hazardous) sites.
IISAC01 analog control station plays an important role in the field of industrial automation because of its high precision, high reliability, easy maintenance and powerful logic processing ability. It supports a variety of output types, including relay output, transistor output, voltage output, etc., to adapt to different control needs. At the same time, it also has overload protection, short circuit protection and overheat protection and other safety functions to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system
