The YOKOGAWA AIP831-1112 is an industrial operating keyboard manufactured by Yokogawa Electric Corporation, designed for desktop man-machine interface systems (HIS) that support eight loop simultaneous operations. The keyboard comes with eight controls, each with built-in touch sensors that are used for the “meter panel Highlight” feature of the desktop HIS. The AIP831-1112 also has a separate USB speaker built in for sound signals, rather than just buzzer alerts.
In terms of technical specifications, the AIP831-1112 operating keyboard uses a USB interface to connect to the computer, supporting USB 2.0 (full speed, bus powered) for operating keyboard functions, and USB 1.1 (full speed, bus powered) for sound functions. It has an input voltage of 5V±5%, a maximum current consumption of 1A, and a weight of about 2.0kg (without VESA support) or 2.5kg (with VESA support). The keyboard’s housing color is black and complies with IEC 61010-1 installation category Class I, i.e. the device is not directly connected to the main power supply.
In terms of operating environment requirements, the normal operating temperature range of AIP831-1112 is 5°C to 40°C, the temperature range for storage and transportation is -20°C to 60°C, and the ambient humidity is required to be 20% to 80%RH (non-condensing).
In addition, the AIP831-1112 operating keyboard also has a mode selection switch and two types of operation confirmation keys, which users can choose according to their needs. To use AIP831-1112 on a desktop HIS, software support for the LHS1140 Eight-loop Simultaneous Operation Package is required.
This keyboard is widely used in industrial automation fields that require precise control and monitoring, such as oil and gas, chemical, power, water treatment and other industries, providing operators with an intuitive and easy-to-use operating interface to ensure efficient and safe control of industrial processes
