Yokogawa Electric Corporation recently introduced the AAI143-H50 analog input module, a high-performance module designed for industrial automation and control systems to receive and process analog input signals from sensors or transmitters. The AAI143-H50 module supports current input signals from 4 to 20mA and has 16 isolated channels to ensure the accuracy and reliability of signal acquisition.

The module has a variety of technical features, including compatibility with Yokogawa’s DCS systems such as the CENTUM CS 3000 R3, redundant design, and the ability to form multiple fiber optic networks for self-healing protection of signal transmission. AAI143-H50 data electrical interface using 9-pin Sub_D jack connector, in line with Profibus DP protocol specifications, support communication rate from 9.6kBit/s to 12MBit/s, signal delay (electrical) ≤11Bit, It also has 4000V lightning protection, 1.5A overcurrent protection and 600W surge protection.

In addition, the fiber interface of the AAI143-H50 module supports multi-mode 850nm and 1310nm and single-mode 1310nm and 1550nm fiber wavelengths. Transmission fiber types include multi-mode 50/125 um, 62.5/125 um, 100/140um, and single-mode 8.3/125 um, 9/125um, and 10/125 UM. In terms of transmission distance, multi-mode up to 2Km, single-mode up to 20Km, optical fiber interface type SC, FC, ST optional, standard SC optical interface.
