SST-PB3-SLC is a multifunctional communication module designed for industrial automation applications. It utilizes Modbus/TCP protocol to provide reliable communication between devices and control systems for seamless data exchange. The module has the ability to quickly connect Rockwell SLC 500 systems to the PROFIBUS network, increasing network flexibility. The SST-PB3-SLC module supports a master-slave configuration, allowing the Rockwell SLC 500 PLC to connect as a master or slave to scan or simulate PROFIBUS DP I/O for diverse industrial automation needs.

The SST-PB3-SLC module provides user defined 2064 bytes of input and output data space, which provides great convenience for connecting SLC cpus to large PROFIBUS networks. The module also has firmware upgrade and configuration functions, and the 9-pin serial port can be used for on-site firmware upgrade and I/O configuration upload, simplifying the maintenance and management process. In addition, SLC processor logic scanning and PROFIBUS I/O scanning are independent of each other, which ensures stable operation of the system.
