Rockwell Automation has announced the 1756-L83E controller, a new addition to the ControlLogix 5580 controller family. The 1756-L83E controller provides strong support for industrial control systems with its high efficiency and advanced technical characteristics.

The 1756-L83E controller has the processing power to support up to 32 tasks and is capable of handling complex logic containing 1000 programs/tasks, including all event triggers. The controller is equipped with 10MB of user memory and an optional non-volatile memory for data and logic storage. In addition, the 1756-L83E comes pre-loaded with a 2GB Secure Digital (SD) card, ensuring data security and system reliability.

The controller supports EtherNet/IP communication protocols and has two communication ports: a Type-B USB port and an embedded EtherNet port. Through these ports, the 1756-L83E is able to achieve high-speed data transmission and network connections with other devices. In addition, the 1756-L83E also supports a variety of certification standards such as Eurasian Economic Community, Australian RCM, China CCC, ATEX and CE, ensuring its application compliance on a global scale.
