ABB has introduced a new industrial router, the 3BSE080239R1 NE870, with firewall capabilities designed for industrial network environments that require high security and reliability. The NE870 industrial router supports the Redundant Network Routing Protocol (RNRP) to achieve network redundancy and avoid single point of failure, thereby improving the stability and security of the entire network system.
The NE870 router features eight Ethernet TX 10/100 ports and three Ethernet TX 10/100/1000 ports, supports Layer 3 routing, and has a built-in firewall to enhance network security.
In addition, the device has redundant power and alarm functions, a wide operating voltage range (16 VDC to 60 VDC), and a cast DIN clamp on the rear end to ensure stable installation on the DIN rail.
This industrial router is designed with a variety of industrial application scenarios in mind, including but not limited to oil and gas, chemical, paper printing, power and municipal engineering, etc., to meet the high requirements for network stability and security in these fields. The introduction of the NE870 further enriches ABB’s product line in industrial automation and process control, providing customers with more efficient and reliable network solutions.
