General Electric’s (GE) Fanuc Intelligent Platforms recently introduced the V7768-330000 VME Bus single board Computer (SBC), which brings new options to industrial automation and control with its outstanding processing power and rich I/O capabilities. The V7768-330000 is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a maximum frequency of 2.16 GHz and supports up to 2GB DDR2 SDRAM memory expansion, ensuring powerful data processing capabilities.
The single-board computer integrates the Intel 945GME Express chipset and offers multiple I/O options including dual Gigabit Ethernet, two SATA ports, four USB 2.0 ports, and a keyboard/mouse /SVGA on the front panel. In addition, the V7768-330000 also supports PMC sites for PCI-X, providing additional scalability.
Designed with a focus on flexibility and ease of use, the V7768-330000 features an EasyRail PMC mounting system that simplifies the installation and maintenance process. It also supports up to 8GB of bootable CompactFlash storage, providing more data storage solutions.
In addition, the V7768-330000 offers a Celeron M processor option that allows operation over a wider temperature range, further extending its applicability in industrial applications. With a board-to-board connector, the single-board computer can also be used with the PMC237CM1/V PMC expansion board, giving customers more custom I/O options.
