Allen-Bradley has welcomed a new member of the Kinetix 5700 Series servo drive family with model number 2198-S086-ERS4. Designed and manufactured by Rockwell Automation, this single-axis servo drive offers high performance and advanced safety features for complex multi-axis control systems requiring high power and a large number of axes.
The 2198-S086-ERS4 servo drive, with its superior power output and control accuracy, meets the demand for efficient drive solutions in the field of industrial automation. With a continuous output current of 43 amps and a peak output current of 86 amps, the driver is able to provide a continuous power output of up to 29.7 kW. It has a PWM frequency of 4 KHZ and an internal capacitance of 560 microfarads, ensuring fast response and stable control.
In addition, the 2198-S086-ERS4 servo drive features an integrated STO (Safe Torque Off) mode and advanced safety monitoring to enhance the safety of the machine. The drive is 85 mm wide, 433 mm long, 252 mm deep and weighs 5.21 kg, making it easy to install and integrate into various mechanical designs.
