Schneider Electric has introduced the new 140CPU67861 Unity Thermal Standby processor, part of the Modicon Quantum automation platform, which offers high-performance processing power and robust communication options ideal for industrial automation and control applications. The processor has a clock rate of 266 MHz and 11 MB of memory, and supports single-mode Ethernet for high-speed data transfer and network connectivity.
The main features of the 140CPU67861 processor include its hot standby function, which can automatically switch to the standby processor when the main processor fails or needs maintenance, ensuring continuous operation and stability of the system. In addition, it supports up to 63 distributed I/O sites and 31 remote I/O sites, providing up to 31,744 discrete I/ OS and 500 analog I/ OS for complex industrial control needs.
