August 27, 2024 – GE Fanuc, a global leader in automation technology, announced the launch of a new IC695CRU320 redundant processor module, further enhancing its PACSystem RX3i product family. With its innovative redundant design, this module provides increased system availability and reliability in the field of industrial automation.
The IC695CRU320 redundant processor module is powered by a 1 GHz Intel Celeron M processor, equipped with 64 MB of battery backup RAM and 64 MB of non-volatile flash user memory, ensuring high efficiency and security of data processing. The module supports hot standby redundancy, providing seamless handover in the event of a primary CPU failure, minimizing downtime for time-critical applications.
The processor module features two serial communication ports that support the RS232 and RS485 communication standards for easy communication and integration with a wide range of industrial equipment. In addition, the IC695CRU320 also supports local and remote expansion racks, which are compatible with expansion modules in the 90-30 series I/O product family, but do not include mainframe racks.
