August 27, 2024 – ProSoft Technology, a world-renowned provider of industrial automation and communication solutions, announced the launch of the new MVI56E-SIE Siemens Industrial Ethernet communication module. Designed for use with Rockwell Automation ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PACS), this module provides efficient Ethernet connectivity with Siemens S7 series PLCS.

The MVI56E-SIE module supports connectivity with up to 20 Siemens S7-200, S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, and S7-1500 PLCS as Ethernet servers, while the ControlLogix PAC serves as Ethernet clients. The module provides graphical Configuration tools via ProSoft Configuration Builder (PCB), simplifies the management of module configuration files, and allows communication and module diagnostic information to be viewed via a high-speed Ethernet port.
