National Instruments (NI) today announced the introduction of its new PXIe-8822 controller, a high-performance embedded controller based on Intel Core i3 processors designed for industrial control, data acquisition and test and measurement applications. The addition of the PXIe-8822 further expands NI’s PXI family of product lines, providing a compact and/or portable PC-based platform.
The PXIe-8822 controller uses a 2.4GHz quad-core processor with powerful data processing capabilities to meet a variety of industrial automation needs. It includes a 10/100/1000/2500 BASE-T gigabit Ethernet port, two high-speed USB ports, two USB 3.0 ports, as well as an integrated hard drive, serial ports, and other peripheral I/O, providing users with a wealth of interface options.
