EPRO, a leading expert in monitoring and protection systems for rotating machinery, has introduced the new MMS6120 two-channel bearing vibration measurement module. This module is designed to monitor and protect all types of turbine-machinery, such as steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, fans, gearboxes, blowers and centrifuges, to improve efficiency, operational safety and extend machine life.
The MMS6120 module uses an advanced electro-dynamic speed sensor to accurately measure bearing vibration. The sensor output types include VRMS (root mean square value), Sop (zero peak value), Spp (peak peak value), etc., to adapt to different monitoring needs. The module has a built-in microprocessor, which supports on-site configuration and communication through RS232/485 port, and realizes the reading of measured values and spectrum analysis.
The MMS6120 module has the following core features:
Dual channel tile vibration measurement, monitoring bearing vibration.
It can be replaced in operation and supports individual use and redundant power input.
Extended self-check with built-in sensor self-check and password protected operating levels.
Suitable for eddy current sensor PR9266/PR9268 or piezoelectric sensor.
Record and store measurement data for the last start/stop.
The modules are designed in accordance with international standards, such as API 670, VDI 2056 and VDI 2059, and can be used together with other modules to form turbomachinery protection systems and as inputs for analytical diagnostic systems, fieldbus systems, distributed control systems, etc.
Since its founding in 1970, EPRO has been adhering to the philosophy of continuous innovation and compliance with ISO 9001 standards to provide customers with high quality products and services. The introduction of the MMS6120 module further strengthens EPRO’s professional position in the field of industrial automation and equipment monitoring
