ABB has announced the launch of its latest HS810 3BDH000305R0101 first station module. This module was designed for the LD 800P PROFIBUS DP/PA Linking Device to provide a more efficient and reliable data transfer solution for industrial automation. The HS810 head station module supports all transmission rates on the PROFIBUS DP side, from 45.45 kBit/s to 12 MBit/s, in accordance with EN 50170/2.

The module has the following features:

Single channel header station, PROFIBUS DP transmission rate up to 12 MBit/s.
Transparent operation, does not occupy PROFIBUS address, automatic baud rate detection.
Independent of the main PROFIBUS station, up to 125 PA devices can be connected.
