Emerson today announced the launch of its new industrial automation module, the 1C31132G01. Designed as a universal I/O module for Ovation™ Distributed control Systems (DCS), this module addresses the need for efficient control solutions in industrial automation with its versatility and flexibility.
The 1C31132G01 module has 8 configurable channels and can be used as analog input, analog output, digital input or digital output. Its input signal range is -20 mA to +20 mA, 4-20 mA (analog input), output signal range is 4-20 mA (analog output), output voltage is 24 VDC (digital output), and output current is 2 A (digital output). The communication mode of the module is the I/A series backplane bus, the protection class is IP20, the operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C, and the storage temperature range is -55°C to +85°C. It measures 216 mm x 330 mm x 133 mm and weighs 6.8 kg.
