General Electric (GE) recently introduced a new industrial control module, the IS200AEPCH1BAA, a VME control card designed specifically for the Mark VI series. The module is suitable for a variety of application scenarios such as gas turbine control, power plant control, industrial automation, and oil and gas production.
The IS200AEPCH1BAA is powered by a PowerPC 604e processor, has a clock rate of 400 MHz, and comes with 256 MB of SDRAM memory and 1 MB of flash memory. It offers 32-bit and four I/O channels, four RS-232 serial ports, supports +5 V, +12 V, -12 V supply voltages, and has a power consumption of approximately 10W. The module is capable of stable operation in the operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, while the storage temperature range is -40°C to 85°C, is able to withstand vibration of 0.5 g RMS (57 Hz to 250 Hz), and weighs about 0.5 kg.
The launch of this module further enriches GE’s product line in the field of industrial automation and provides customers with more choices. It is expected to play a more important role in industrial production in the future, especially in improving system reliability and optimizing control strategies. With its deep technology accumulation in the power, renewable energy, healthcare, aviation, oil and gas and other industries, General Electric (GE) continues to promote the development of industrial automation technology and contribute to the digital transformation of global industry.
