VMIC recently introduced the VMIVME-3122, a high-performance 16-bit analog-to-digital converter board that offers a new solution for applications requiring high-speed data acquisition and accurate analog signal processing. With its excellent dynamic range and analog input channel density, the equipment has a wide range of applications in factory automation, process control, data acquisition systems, training simulators and laboratory instruments.
The VMIVME-3122 has several operating modes, including automatic scanning, data burst, and external synchronization. It supports 16, 32, or 64 differential or single-ended analog inputs, offers selectable scan rates from 381 Hz to 100 kHz, and has programmable gains that allow flexibility to adapt to different measurement needs. In addition, the board features an internal low-pass input filter and optional gain Settings to improve signal quality and system performance.
The device also features a dual-port data buffer of 16 to 1024 words and supports short I/O (A16), standard (A24), or extended (A32) data space operations. Users can program channel block sizes and buffer sizes as needed to optimize data flow and processing efficiency.
The VMIVME-3122 also offers advanced features such as onboard timers, bus interrupters, channel counters, and scan in/scan out markers that help simplify data monitoring and processing. In addition, the board supports data transmission via VMEbus, ensuring compatibility and integration with other systems.
