The GE Fanuc C695CRU320-BB RX3i CPU is a solid state automated computer designed and manufactured by GE Fanuc to be used as the logical brain for applications implemented using the RX3i PACSystems platform. One of the most interesting features of the PLC CPU is its ability to support what is called “hot standby redundancy”, which means that users can set up and configure 2 RX3i cpus to perform the same function in a given application. This capability provides the GE Fanuc C695CRU320-BB RX3i CPU with great flexibility to ensure processor redundancy and minimize downtime for time-critical applications. Two built-in serial communication ports, an RS-232 port and an RS-486 port, enable the CPU to be integrated into the end user’s control algorithms.
