REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device, as a dedicated feeder protection and measurement and control device, is specially used to protect, control, measure and monitor public and industrial distribution systems. REF615 can be used in both ungrounded neutral power grid and grounded neutral resistance or impedance power grid. In addition, with the advanced inter-station communication function of the device, REF615 can also be used for ring mesh distribution network or radiation network protection. The protected power grid includes multiple feeds and distributed generation.

REF615 IEC feeder protection and measurement and control device has 12 standard configurations, which is suitable for common feeder protection and measurement and control applications. The characteristic of REF615 is that it supports IEC61850 communication standard, Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) and High Availability Seamless Redundancy Protocol (HSR), in which IEC61850 communication standard includes IEC 61850-9-2 LE. The relay also supports DNP3, IEC 60870-5-103 and Modbus® protocols. Profitbus DPV1 protocol is supported by SPA-ZC 302 protocol adapter.
