The 1746sc-INO4I is an analog current-only output module from Spectrum Controls. The module has Four (4) isolated-channel outputs. The 1746sc-INO4I occupies a slot in the 1746 Input / Output chassis. The 1746sc-INO4I draws a current of 120 milliamperes at 5 Volts DC from the backplane, but to minimize the current load on the backplane, the 1746sc-INO4I can be interfaced with an external power source with a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC. The 1746sc-INO4I has a DIP switch to specify whether the module draws power from the backplane or an external power source. When the DIP switch on the 1746sc-INO4I is set to the RACK position, the module draws power from the backplane while the module is powered from an external 24 Volts DC power supply, the DIP switch should be set to EXT position.

The 1746sc-INO4I draws 5 Volts DC power from the backplane. This consumption rating is same when the module is powered externally. The module has a removable 16-position terminal block which accommodates a Belden 8761 shielded twisted pair cable. The 1746sc-INO4I has a resolution of 16 bits, a current of 366 Nano-Amps per count, and a voltage of 320 microvolts per count. The 1746sc-INO4I isolated-channel analog output model has auto-calibration programmable limits and safe states, an optoelectrical isolation of 750 Volts DC (channel-to-channel and field-wiring-to-backplane). The data of this module is capable of being formatted to 16-Bit Two’s complement, Scaled Engineering Units, Scaled for PID, 1746-NO4 format and user-defined proportional counts. It has an accuracy of 0.08% of full scale at 25 Deg. Celsius and 0.15% at 60 Deg. Celsius.
