The 1771-IVN is an integral part of Rockwell Automation control systems and belongs to the 1756 family of ControlLogix communication modules.

1771-IVN Output module PLC addressing is to encode the components inside the PLC so that each component can be identified when the program is executed. The PLC allocates a storage area for each component in the data storage area, and uses the letter as the area identifier, while indicating the type of component. For example, the digital input is written to the input mapping register (area identifier is I), the digital output is written to the output mapping register (area identifier is Q), the analog input is written to the analog input mapping register (area identifier is AI), and the analog output is written to the analog output mapping register (area identifier is AQ). In addition to input and output, PLC has other components, V represents variable memory; M represents internal flag bit memory; SM stands for special flag bit memory; L stands for local memory; T indicates timer; C stands for counter; HC stands for high-speed counter; S stands for sequential control memory; AC indicates the accumulator.
