The DS200DCFBG1BNC is a power supply board manufactured for General Electric’s Mark V series of replacement and optional boards. The DS200DCFBG1BNC circuit board is part of the Speedtronic Mark V control system.  System control level power, as well as the enclosure fan, is provided electricity by this card. Compatible with a number of GE brand exciters and drives, this card can be installed in a variety of systems. Drives from the FC2000, AC2000, DC2000, ME2000, and CB2000 series can use this board. Voltages fed to the board can safely rate from 38 to 115 VAC.

DS200DCFBG1BNC includes five circuits around the board. These include a driver circuit, the control level supply circuit, a motor field power circuit, and both an AC and a DC monitoring circuit. To ensure the circuits are not disrupted, three of the fuses on board are protected. Should any fuses need attention, the integrated LED and neon indicators will alert the user. Monitoring voltage levels is important and can be done using one of the five test points on the card. User configurability is possible using the twelve jumpers and seven DIP switches.

To replace the DCFB board:

1. Turn off power to the equipment, then wait for a few minutes for the DS200DCFBG1BNC’s capacitors to discharge. Test any electrical circuits before touching them to ensure power is off.
2. Open the equipment cabinet door to access the printed wiring boards. This exposes the drive control card, which faces the front. DS200DCFBG1BNC mounted behind the drive control card, also
   facing the front.
3. Pull the locks located on either side of the cabinet. Lift the drive control card and tilt forward and down to expose the DS200DCFBG1BNC board.
4. To remove the DS200DCFBG1BNC board, carefully disconnect all cables as follows:
   – For a ribbon cable, place one hand on each side of the cable connector that mates with the board connector. Gently pull the cable connector with both hands.
   – For a cable with a pull tab, carefully pull the tab
5. Plastic snaps (holders) keeps the DS200DCFBG1BNC in place. Push these holders back to release the board.
6. On the replacement board, set all jumpers and switches in the exact position as those on the board being replaced.
   If a board revision has added or eliminated a configurable component, or re-adjustment is needed
7. Install the new DS200DCFBG1B board, ensuring that all holders snap into position.
8. The cables labeled with the correct connector name, as marked on the DS200DCFBG1BNC board. Reconnect all cables as labeled. Ensure the cable seating on both ends.
