It also contains 3 fuses, 30 jumpers, and a pair of bayonet connectors. The GE Emergency Overspeed Board with EPROM modules DS215TCEAG1BZZ01A comes with EPROM modules installed on the board. The EPROM modules have the firmware and programming instructions stored on them that the microprocessor uses for normal processing. Installation of this board might be appropriate if the original board contains EPROM modules that are damaged. Before you install the board there are some considerations to keep in mind concerning handling the EPROMs. Wear a wrist strap when you handle the board to prevent static build up.
