The Hydran 201Ti is a small on-line early warning transmitter. It is permanently mounted on the transformer and will provide personnel with a single reading in ppm of a composite value of various fault gases to alert them to a potential issue.

This value can be downloaded and alarms can be set at pre-determined levels to alert personnel and enable monitoring of the developing fault condition.

Hydran 201Ti intelligent transmitter

The H201Ti smart transmitter has a small cylinder housing that connects directly to the transformer’s dissolved gas monitoring valve via a brass connector.

The H201Ti includes a standard HYDRAN® sensor, thermal regulation system and microprocessor-based electrical transmitter. Terminal for easy connection to AC power, alarm contacts (gas high, gas high-high and system failure) and supervisory connections, and a non-isolated output simulating 0-1mA. An isolated output of 4-20mA is also available. An RS-232 connector for the computer interface is also provided.

Equipped with a thin film keyboard and LCD display, it can be used without an external computer.

Two: Hydran 201Ci-1 single channel controller

The H201Ci-1 control unit is a complete single-channel controller used with the H201Ti Intelligent transmitter. The digital/analog board handles communications and provides display, alarm, and analog output functions.

The main terminal is easy to connect: AC power supply; Alarm contacts (gas high, gas high-high and system failure); Non-isolated analog outputs (0-1mA, 4-20mA, 0-1V, 0-10V) and isolated analog outputs with jumper configurations are available. The auxiliary terminal is used as a supervisory connection for the H201Ti intelligent transmitter. Connector for communication: RS-232 to computer or optional modem, RS-485 to other H201Ci controllers.

3: H201Ci-C communication controller

The H201Ci-C control unit is a communication controller. It can be connected to up to four H201Ti smart transmitters via isolated supervision, such as A transformer cabinet (including phases A,B,C, and sometimes an auxiliary). H201Ci-C communication controller does not have display screen, nor does it provide alarm and analog output. It is a special interface connecting H201Ti intelligent transmitter network with computer via RS-232 or modem.

The H201Ci-C is housed in a small NEMA-4X box and includes a digital circuit board for communication transactions. The main terminal is easy to connect to AC power. Connector for communication: RS-232 to computer or optional modem (4 connectors), RS-485 to other H201Ci controllers.

Four: H201Ci-4 four-channel controller

The H201Ci-4 control unit is a complete four-channel controller. For use with up to four H201Ti Smart transmitters in a NEMA-4X box. Digital/ANALOG board handles communication transactions and provides scan display output, alarm and analog output.

The main terminal is convenient for connecting AC power and alarm contacts (gas high, GAS high-high and system fault). Connectors for communication: RS-232 to computer or optional modem, isolated and supervised connection to H201Ti intelligent transmitter, RS-485 to other H201Ci controllers.

The front door is equipped with a light-emitting diode digital display showing the gas content in parts per million. And two gas alarm lights. The display displays the ppm value of each channel in sequence, while a column of small light-emitting diodes indicates the channel number being displayed. The five-speed rotary switch allows continuous display of one of the channels or automatic scanning.
