IS215ACLEH1B Application Control Layer Module

The IS215ACLEH1B is a key component in the General Electric (GE) Mark VI series of control systems, the Application Control Layer Module (ACLE). It is a microprocessor-based control module responsible for performing the logic control and data processing functions of the control system.
Functions: including logic control, data processing, communication, fault diagnosis, etc.
Applications: Widely used in power plants, for controlling steam turbines, gas turbines and other equipment, as well as other industrial fields requiring process control.
The IS215ACLEH1B model is part of the EX2100e family as an application control layer module, usually a microprocessor-based controller. The main purpose of the board is to perform a variety of different tasks over communication networks such as ISBus and Ethernet. When the board is installed, it will occupy two and a half slots in the EX2100 exciter board frame or Innovation series drive. ACLE board will also be located in the control cabinet.

The module has a variety of software capabilities including, but not limited to, I/O points and internal Boolean forcing, application control for innovative series drives, non-volatile flash memory, online application configuration loading, control blocks, and more. It also has a 128 KB L2 cache, used with and controlled by the PCI controller, which is set on 152 NC cache rows, which will fill the rows between the L1 and L2 caches. Another feature of the ACLE board is a flash memory device, a storage device located on the local bus side of the target interface, called device 1, which can only be accessed in byte mode.
