T8403C Trusted TMR 24Vdc digital input module

Trusted®TMR 24 Vdc digital input module interfaces to 40 field input devices. Fault tolerance is implemented through a three-mode redundancy (TMR) architecture within the module with 40 input channels. The input for each field is tripled and the input voltage is measured using a sigma delta input circuit. The generated field voltage measurement is compared to a user-configurable threshold voltage to determine the reported field input status. When line monitoring devices are installed on site, the switch module can detect open and short circuit field cables. The line monitoring function is configured independently for each input channel. Triple voltage measurement, coupled with on-board diagnostic testing, provides comprehensive fault detection and fault tolerance. This module provides onboard event sequence (SOE) reports with a resolution of 1 ms. A change in state triggers the SOE entry. The state is determined by the voltage threshold configured on a per-channel basis.
